We would spend an entire day running around doing our exercises. We started at 8am, and finished at 5pm, even later sometimes. Sure, music is involved, but why does that not make it a sport? Marching band is hard work, and it takes a lot of commitment. We don’t have games, we have competitions. Our competition is intense. And personally, I think we work harder than other teams.
I didn’t call them fat. I just called the other girls skinnier.

Attentio guys: take this from a girl.
it does NOT take “balls” to talk to a girl. If you see a girl at the mall or something that you think is cute, dont be scared. LITERALLY walk up to her and say hi and ask her to hang with you (and your friends if you’re not alone). you do not know how many times this has happened to me. we will not think its weird, we will love it. and if any of your friends say “we’ll know you have balls if you go get that chicks number” LOL no. so, im just putting that out there.
