Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor

 

Given the fact that my generation is better educated as a whole than others, I’d like to think that we’re capable of solving some of the problems left by the previous two or three generations, but when I look at things like Tumblr, I realize that’s never going to happen. You’d think the generation that grew up being told we could do/be anything we wanted, only to graduate college right as the economy collapsed, would be eager to roll up its sleeves and fix the grossly unfair economic system that benefits the wealthy at the expense of everyone else. Instead, we have Tumblr… where every PC-Thug and Social-Justice-Tryhard is so preoccupied calling themselves “oppressed victims of white malehood,” that they can’t fathom banding together with their enemy, “the patriarchy” to cut the wealthy down to size. Even when that idea is pointed out to them, they’re so distracted by the “race and sex” of the wealthy that they can’t understand that it’s irrelevant to solving the problem. The solution is not to make more rich minorities. The solution is to make fewer rich people and enrich everyone else, white, black, man, woman, whatever. Human history is one long struggle between the haves and have-nots, i.e. rich and poor. The reason the rich stay rich is because they put all their effort into playing the poor against each other, just like here on tumblr: i.e. “You’re white, you have privilege. You’re straight. You have privilege. You’re male, you have privilege. You’re thin. You have privilege,” or even something as mundane as, “You like this, ergo I don’t like you. You hate that, ergo I hate you.” When the poor argue amongst themselves, fighting over who has it worse, who’s right or wrong, the rich just laugh all the way to the bank. Free tip, proletariat… YOU’RE ALL WRONG. Wake me when my generation actually grows up and stops arguing amongst themselves about social justice, and starts focusing on the REAL problem: economic justice. Tax the wealthy. Stop government handouts to businesses. Stop having kids. Nationalize the energy and healthcare industries.

Poor me sob sob sob I was an idiot and didn’t avoid something that I should have known would upset me.” So many things on this blog have triggered me. But instead of try to get pity for it I just get off the blog. Stop being idiots and follow my example.

kay this is a controversial opinion so im sorry if i have offended you. i hate spaghetti and chicken. eating it is wrong and immoral. here is why: my brother walter set me up on a date with a guy named tyrone. we were making spaghetti in the kitchen, having a naughty time with the noodles. then he went potty and found out i have 27 ex boyfriends because i have their pictures hung up in front of the toilet. he got mad and started pooping in the front yard. i was like “stop tyrone please” but he was like “if you can’t contain your hormones, i cant contain my poop” i went to my mama but she was like idgaf. so now there is poop balls all over my damn yard. it ruined my new crocs too. all thanks to damn spaghetti the reason i hate chicken is because obama is eating it in this picture :/

i hate spaghetti and chicken. eating it is wrong and immoral. here is why:

Two Opinions: It really irritates me when people are all fussed about downloading/streaming music or movies being “illegal”. Nobody cares! Yeah, I’m sure Rihanna could really use your 99 pence because it’s not like she’s rich or anything. Spotify is so, so, SO much better than iTunes! You can actually share music with friends by sending it to them, you have access to millions of songs for just £10 a month if you want, four of the top five record labels are signed with them, I could go on.

Two Opinions:

It annoys me when people look down on people who are doing an Arts degree in college. Ok, at a glance you might not think there is much to be done with subjects like english, psychology, history, social science etc.. With arts, you do not come out of college qualified in one profession (i.e if you do medicine you come out a doctor, if you do law you can come out a lawyer) Most people who do arts are ‘drifters’, they like to be flexible and do a few different things with their lives. My sister did an english degree, and she’s been all over the world teaching. I did French and have been with different companies in several countries doing translation and small bit of teaching. I’ve met wonderful people, experienced different cultures and yeah, the salary is rather satisfying. And it’s not just teaching you can do. Take a look at this list  http://www.kinderart.com/artspeak/artart2.shtml  I also know several people who have gone into journalism. With arts, you have to look for work. Some people do arts and whine that they ‘can’t get a job’ and end up working in subway. These are lazy people who are not willing to look, not willing to travel or simply went into arts for the wrong reason (such as the classic ‘I don’t know what to do with my life….I’ll do an arts degree!’) Arts isn’t for everyone, but that’s no different to other college courses. I loathe the idea of working in an office at a law firm for the rest of my life or spending 24/7 looking after patients in a hospital. But people do those things because they are passionate about it. I happen to be passionate about the arts, and there IS work there, and plenty of it. Just because you don’t like arts doesn’t mean it’s useless. Let people do what they want, it’s none of your business.

i hate it when everyone takes not agreeing with someones opinions,  life style, or actions as not excepting that person/ group or hating that person/group  i understand people are sensitive but take your extreme sensitivity some were else and stop making disagreeing out to be hating and this is to everyone!  EVERYONE!!!

I’m rally sick of mixed black people talking about their “slave ancestors” and how white people are awful and all that shit. Let’s also mention your “slave owner” ancestors. Just because black is the dominant gene doesn’t block out that you had white ancestors that would have been just as racist to black people as any other white person. Being dark skinned doesn’t make anyone’s ancestor’s better than anyone else’s. Call me racist you know I make a valid point. Oh and not all white people are bad. And it’s just as racist to be mean to white people because they’re white as it is to do that to any other people. Being a dick to me because I’m pasty is’t going to go back in time and make slavery have never happened. Also blacks weren’t the only one’s to be enslaved.
