kay this is a controversial opinion so im sorry if i have offended you.

i hate spaghetti and chicken. eating it is wrong and immoral. here is why:

my brother walter set me up on a date with a guy named tyrone. we were making spaghetti in the kitchen, having a naughty time with the noodles. then he went potty and found out i have 27 ex boyfriends because i have their pictures hung up in front of the toilet. he got mad and started pooping in the front yard. i was like “stop tyrone please” but he was like “if you can’t contain your hormones, i cant contain my poop” i went to my mama but she was like idgaf. so now there is poop balls all over my damn yard. it ruined my new crocs too. all thanks to damn spaghetti

Tumblr claims to hate Taylor Swift and her lyrics so much, but there are several sets of lyrics of hers that is always reblogged on tumblr, by people who hate her. But because it does not say where the quote came from, they reblog it.

Examples:

Just thought you should know. I know that there are a couple lyrics that people can dislike, but seriously, you don’t hate all of them if you have reblogged any of these, because they ARE hers.

Two Opinions:

It really irritates me when people are all fussed about downloading/streaming music or movies being “illegal”. Nobody cares! Yeah, I’m sure Rihanna could really use your 99 pence because it’s not like she’s rich or anything.

Spotify is so, so, SO much better than iTunes! You can actually share music with friends by sending it to them, you have access to millions of songs for just £10 a month if you want, four of the top five record labels are signed with them, I could go on.

Pregnancy is fucking beautiful. I don’t know where I got this from, but I just think it is sartorially such a lovely aesthetic and I am genuinely amazed at the entire process. If we want to expand our family, WOOPS we can just grow another person. We can accidentally create life. Plus, it provides an awesome connection to women in the past; presumably there are certain things all mothers go through that a woman from the 18th century and a woman from the present day could agree on. I truly admire the women that choose (if such is their situation) to go through with it.

2. Obesity is unhealthy, there’s no denying it. It has no health benefits. Hell, why don’t we also have a smokers movement, a meth movement, a binge drinking movement? Do those sound stupid? Good. Because your obesity movement is just as fucking bad - it glorifies bad behavior and poor health choices.

3. A lot of these people assume there’s no discrimination toward skinny people. Let me guess, you say there’s no sexism towards men and no racism toward white people as well. Stop trying to make yourself out to be some sad, oppressed minority. Your lifestyle is your choice - nobody is FORCING you to sit on the couch all day eating shit. Nobody is FORCING you to scoff that Big Mac. You are your own undoing. You were not born fat - you made yourself that way through your bad choices.

4. Even though being obese doesn’t CAUSE illnesses such as diabetes, heart attacks, high blood pressure etc, it sure as hell is a massive contributing factor. I mean why would you want to put your body through all of that stress anyway? Your joints have extra weight on them that shouldn’t be there and your organs have to work so much harder to make your fat ass survive.

5. It seems as if the people who are part of this movement have serious trouble taking responsibility for their actions, always blaming it on some thyroid problem or binge eating. Guess what? I have a thyroid condition and so-called “fat genes” from not one, but BOTH of my parents - but that doesn’t stop me from WORKING OUT every day and WATCHING WHAT I FUCKING PUT ON MY PLATE. Stop making excuses and being so infantile - it’ll stop anyone taking you seriously.

6. What the fuck are you even proud of? Overeating? Being blatantly ignorant and immature? There’s literally NOTHING to be proud of in this movement. You haven’t improved the quality of life for anyone and actually decreased it if anything, you haven’t invented anything that could change the world for the better and you haven’t cured cancer, though your righteous and uppity behavior makes you think you have. Get real.

7. Stop using Monroe as an inspiration. Firstly, sizes have changed since then, so a 14 back then isn’t a 14 now. At her HEAVIEST, she was 140 pounds. The AVERAGE woman is 166. Her waist measurement was 23 inches, and the average woman’s is 37.5 inches. She was never fat, so stop using her as some goddess scapegoat to make you feel better about yourself. Monroe actually worked out to stay looking good - if you wanted to be anything like her, maybe you could do the same?

8. I know you’ve probably heard this a lot already, but CURVES ≠ FAT ROLLS. Curvy is having voluptuous assets such as the breasts and bottom, having lean legs and a flat tummy. The only kinds of curves these girls have are their rolls. Cover that shit up.

9. Your “movement” is self destructive. All you do is damage yourself and then not only refuse to be responsible for it but on top of that, you try to blame others around you for it. Remember how I said you were infantile? Going around and hurting yourself on purpose and then saying you aren’t is ridiculous.

10. How can you be comfortable moving around? Seriously, getting out of bed would be a constant struggle, putting your clothes on every day would be strenuous, taking care of kids would be difficult, and in some cases you can’t even reach your ass to wipe it, for goodness’ sake! Imagine if you’re at the shops, buying your burgers, Mountain Dew and 12 chocolate blocks, and your roll out of Walmart on your motorised wheelchair, only to see that someone has parked their car a little bit close to yours - if you were healthy and thin, you’d just slip in - no mess, no fuss, no damage. BUT because of your weight, you’re so damn wide you can’t even fit in.

11. “I’d go to a gym, but all of the people there are so thin! I’d never fit in!” Um, do you ever think about WHY we’re thin, healthy, muscular, etc? Because instead of getting home every day and plopping our asses down on the couch and eating shit for hours, we go to the gym and sweat and work and push for our goals instead. If anything, when we see a large person at the gym, we respect them so so much - it is always awesome to see someone turning their life around for the better instead of flopping their gut out on tumblr and shoving FAT PRIDE down your throat.

12. On fat girl tumblrs, I always see them being like “Omg guize i’m so proud of my body, anyone who says otherwise is a stupid, narrow-minded pig, omg i’m so beautifullll, look at mah ass.” and then they post photos of male models and shirtless actors, drooling over them. Firstly, you shouldn’t be drooling over anything at your weight. Secondly, you must be so fucking delusional to think a guy who looks like that would want you. THEY take care of their bodies, so naturally, they’d want a woman who takes care of hers, works out, looks good etc. Looking like Jabba isn’t sending that message across. Instead, it sends out the message of being lazy, careless and irresponsible.

You’re killing yourselves guys. All just to get back at people. Is it worth it to cut off years off of spending time with loved ones and doing what you love just to give a big “FUCK YOU!” to the world?

I personally don’t mind if someone uses marijuana. I have friends who do it, and i am perfectly fine with it. What does bother me is when people glorify this substance. I follow people who reblog pictures of it and reblog text posts about how much they enjoy being high. There are also people in school who brag about being high or having pictures of marijuana leaves on their shirt or in general apparel, and are even high in school. Now that is just annoying. It is fine that you use it but honest to god stop obsessing over it. I can understand that people like to express themselves but in the end marijuana is just a drug, and i wish people would just stop flaunting it about. Same concept applies to alcohol. If you are flaunting your substance use as possibly as an excuse of being cool or feeling rebellious or whatever reason,i really just want nothing to do with you. And again, i do not mind people who do it, but be casual about it jesus christ. This is just my opinion, and if you strongly disagree and/or think i am stupid because of it then that is your problem.

I have an incredible lack of regard, and a very low opinion of people who submit things that are provocative and hateful anonymously, to this blog, or to individual users in their ask boxes.

The idea that they use their free time in a completely non-constructive and sometimes masochistic way (i.e. a person who trolls/invites negative attention) is pathetic, when you actually think about it. Yes, there have been anonymous things submitted that have been constructive, or to users who have been kind, and helpful- I do not judge those type of anons, because they are not attacking, and thus, there is no point in accusing someone of cowardice just because they wish to be anonymous.

However-I truly believe that people who anonymously post hateful things, try to troll, or who are mean for no reason, or anything of the sort are exponentially cowardly and I find that level of low self esteem, fear, and cowardice to be hilariously pathetic. I don’t understand why so many people are so afraid of being judged by people ON THE INTERNET that they don’t even care about/don’t like/don’t know….OR how people can randomly attack others and sleep at night, knowing that they didn’t even give a source or anything for the poor person who gets harassed to go off of.

I know I’m going to get some shit for this because I spent five minutes on it when I really didn’t need to, but I am attempting to point out a correlation that I think others may see/attempting to perhaps inform people of exactly how sad and inappropriate their piss poor behavior is.

No, I don’t always agree with your unpopular opinions. Sometimes I plain as shit hate what some people have to say. And I find it so fucking stupid how worked up people get about stuff and how thick-headed they can be. But I still love this blog.

Because it has absolutely no reservations about what is “right” or “wrong”

or how there might not be a “right” or “wrong.”

All this blog does is just let people vent and be pissed off

About ANYTHING. No matter how immoral or totally fucked up it could be. It has no judgement. Sure, some people judge other people’s posts and decide they want to comment on them and react to them. But whatever, that’s their deal. That’s YOUR fight to fight. Your sermon to preach.

And I appreciate every single last one of these posts, no matter how small minded or indisputably fucked up they are.

I appreciate that there is a place on the internet where people really can just be totally fucking crazy about things they believe whole-heartedly.

And I know this makes me sound like some sort of sap at the beginning of the Styx river (where all the souls hang out that couldn’t pick a side and therefore have to spend the rest of eternity fighting for what they may or may not believe in, Dante’s Inferno). But it’s how I feel. So I guess this isn’t really an unpopular opinion so much as it’s just a super appreciation for the fact that this blog exists.

I believe this blog equals us. It makes everyone equally as stubborn as everyone else. Because if you’re willing to go to the trouble of putting your opinion on here and making a case for it, then don’t try to tell me that you’re not at least a little biased towards your own mind.

And that’s totally okay. It really is.

It’s okay to have faith in something and believe in it, whatever it is, even if it’s twisted.

Putting it someplace like this is a healthy way of expressing it. If you firmly believe that it is 100% okay to masturbate to Cows, then by all fucking means, tell this blog about it, and get that shit off your chest. Don’t let it rumble inside you until one day you find yourself wrestling the bull. (Pun fully intended.)

The admin of this blog have taken it upon themselves to let everyone speak completely freely (minus nudity or pornography, which is understandable because there are some legal issues there) and I just think that’s the most open-minded thing anyone on tumblr has ever done. I think that’s the most open-minded thing anyone could EVER do.

I’ve seen this post circulating Tumblr for a long time now and whilst I do not wish to offend anyone who has had/is having suicidal thoughts, I would like to share my opinion. I completely agree that it must have been very disturbing to see a picture of yourself like this on the internet. However, it’s incomprehensible to me that this girl would be angry at someone who didn’t try to save her. It’s obvious that this girl went up there for a reason and for an onlooker (trust me, I’ve witnessed this) sometimes it’s difficult to decide whether you have the right to intervene.

I mean no offence by this, but if this girl really wanted to die then she would be grateful that this onlooker didn’t try and save her. Why would you go to the top of a building, obviously in an extremely suicidal state, threaten to jump but then call someone who didn’t try and save you “selfish”? If you didn’t want someone taking pictures of you in such a vulnerable state then why make your suicide public? Threatening to jump off a building is obviously going to draw a crowd and the fact remains that someone did talk this girl out of it. She stated that “the last thing I wanted at that moment was to be saved”, well then why does she care so much about one person not trying to save her?

My father is a Police Officer and the amount of times he has had to go out and talk kids off roof tops is unreal. This girl may have wanted to die at the time but in the long run she’s probably glad she lived. It is my opinion that people who go and stand on roof tops don’t really want to go through with the suicide but just want some random member of the public to “save” them and reassure them that life is worth living. If this is the case, then don’t bother going up there, causing a scene, and perhaps even wasting Police time. Just seriously don’t bother. If someone truly wanted to commit suicide they would do it in the privacy of their own home where they might have no chance of being saved. If you don’t want someone taking pictures of you about to jump off a rooftop, then don’t go up there and give them the chance to take these pictures. “Attention-seeking” is a phrase I’m trying to avoid in this opinion but… well, you understand me, I hope.

As I said, I mean no offence by this opinion and, this bit was cut out of the picture, someone said that this particular girl is now dead. If this is the case, then I am sorry. I hope this makes sense.
